Indian Institute of Technology Delhi

IIT Delhi, like all other Indian Institutes of Technology, conducts various programs including bachelor's degree in Technology, the Dual Degree Bachelor-cum-Master of Technology program and an Integrated Master of Technology Program. It also offers prestigious postgraduate level programs like Master of Technology, Master of Science, Master of Science (Research), Master of Business Administration, Master of Design (Industrial Design). Finally it also offers a PhD program for cutting edge research in basics sciences such as biological sciences, chemical sciences, physical sciences as well as interdisciplinary research including but not limited to nanoscience and nanotechnology, biomedical sciences and bioengineering etc. The admission criteria for all these programs is very competitive and depends on the particular program. The academic year is organised around the semester. There are two semesters in a year, however, there is an additional summer semester also running a few courses. IIT Delhi follows a 10-point CGPA scale, with a rigorous examination procedure consisting of two mid-semester examinations called Minor Examinations and an end-semester examination called the Major Examination. Apart from that, the courses may involve short projects, term-papers, self-study assignments, and regular surprise quizzes help to keep students on their toes.

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur

The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur or IIT KGP) is a public engineering, management and law institution established by the government of India in 1951. The first of the IITs to be established, it is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the government of India. The institute was established to train scientists and engineers after India attained independence in 1947. It shares its organisational structure andundergraduate admission process with sister IITs. The students and alumni of IIT Kharagpur are informally referred to as KGPians. Among all IITs, IIT Kharagpur has the largest campus (2,100 acres),[4] the most departments, and the highest student enrolment. IIT Kharagpur is known for its festivals:Spring Fest (Social and Cultural Festival), Kshitij (Techno-Management Festival) and Shaurya (sports festival).

Indian Institute of Technology Bombay

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay abbreviated IITB or IIT Bombay) is a public engineering institution located in Powai, Mumbai, India. It has been ranked among the top engineering colleges in India. It is the second-oldest institute of the Indian Institutes of Technology system. IIT Bombay was founded in 1958. In 1961, the Parliament decreed IITs as Institutes of National Importance. A high-power committee of Government of India recommended in 1946 establishment of four higher institutes of technology to set the direction for the development of technical education in the country. Planning for the Institute at Bombay began in 1957 and the first batch of 100 students was admitted in 1958.Since its establishment in Powai, the institute has physically expanded to include more than 584 major buildings with a combined area of more than 2.396 gross square feet (550 acres or 2.22 km˛). IIT Bombay has a comprehensive graduate program offering doctoral degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Currently IIT Bombay has a total of 14 academic departments, six centers, one school, and three interdisciplinary programmes. Over the last 53 years, around 39,000 engineers and scientists have graduated from the institute. Educational programmes here extend beyond the physical sciences and engineering into humanities and social sciences such as Economics, English, Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology and into management studies.Over the years, the institute has also created a niche for its innovative short-term courses through continuing education and distance education programmes.

Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur

The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (commonly known as IIT Kanpur or IITK) is a public engineering institution located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It was declared to be Institute of National Importance by Government of India under IT Act.Established in 1959 as one of the first Indian Institutes of Technology, the institute was created with the assistance of a consortium of nine leading US research universities as part of the Kanpur Indo-American Programme (KIAP).

Indian Institute of Technology Madras

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is an autonomous public engineering institution located in Chennai (formerly Madras), Tamil Nadu. It is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. Founded in 1959 with technical and financial assistance from the government of the former West Germany, it was the third Indian Institutes of Technology that was established by the Government of India through an Act of Parliament, to provide education and research facilities in engineering and technology. IIT Madras is a residential institute that occupies a 2.5 km˛ (620 acres) campus that was formerly part of the adjoining Guindy National Park. The institute has nearly 550 faculty, 8,000 students and 1,250 administrative and supporting staff. Growing ever since it obtained its charter from the Indian Parliament in 1961. Much of the campus is a protected forest, carved out of the Guindy National Park, home to chital (spotted deer), black buck, and other wildlife. A natural lake, deepened in 1988 and 2003, drains most of its rainwater.

Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi

Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi [IIT (BHU), Varanasi] is a public engineering institution located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Founded in 1919 as part of the Banaras Hindu University, it was designated an Indian Institute of Technology in 2012. IIT (BHU) has 13 departments and three inter-disciplinary schools. IIT (BHU) has a residential and co-educational campus within the larger BHU campus which is spread over nearly 1,300 acres (5.3 km2) at the southern end of Varanasi on the banks of the River Ganges. In 1971, three faculties of BHU viz., Banaras Engineering College (BENCO), College of Mining & Metallurgy (MINMET) and College of Technology (TECHNO) were merged to form the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU). IT-BHU was designated as an IIT by The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2012 which was passed by the Lok Sabha on 24 March 2011 and by the Rajya Sabha on 30 April 2012. The President signed the Bill on 20 June 2012 and was notified in the Gazette of India on 21 June 2012.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani ( BITS Pilani) is an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act. The university has 15 academic departments, and focuses primarily on undergraduate education in engineering and the sciences. BITS has campuses in Pilani, Goa (BITS Pilani Goa Campus), Hyderabad (BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus), Dubai (BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus) and an extension center in Bangalore. Although the campuses are primarily autonomous, the same degrees are awarded at all campuses by the university. BITS was the first Indian educational institution to establish a campus abroad. The institute was established in its present form in 1964, with a vision of realising Jawaharlal Nehru’s project of nation-building and an emphasis on "science, technology and modernization". During this period, the institute's transformation from a regional engineering college to a national university was backed by G.D. Birla. Massachusetts Institute of Technology provided the technical assistance required by the change.

Delhi Technological University

Delhi Technological University (DTU), sometimes referred to as DelTech, formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), is a government university located in New Delhi, India. It is one of the oldest Engineering Colleges of India & first Engineering College of Delhi. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic, and was under the control of the Government of India.The college has been under the government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi since 1963 and was affiliated to the University of Delhi from 1952 to 2009.In 2009 the college was given a state university status thus changing its name to Delhi Technological University. It offers courses towards Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Engineering (M.E.), Master of Science (M.Sc.), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) and contains 14 academic departments with a strong emphasis on scientific and technological education and research.

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati, IITG) is an autonomous engineering and technology-oriented institute of higher education established by the Government of India, located in Guwahati, in the state of Assam in India. It is the sixth Indian Institute of Technology established in India. IITG is officially recognised as an Institute of National Importance by the government of India.

The National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NITT), also referred to as National Institute of Technology, Trichy, formerly Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli, is a public engineering and technology university located 20 km near the city of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu, India. The institute was founded in 1964 to cater to the country's growing need for technological manpower. It is one of the 30 National Institutes of Technology in India and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance. About 3,500 students are enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the institute. The institute is located on an 800-acre (3.2 km2) campus on the outskirts of Tiruchirappalli.

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), also referred to as NIT Nagpur, formerly Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur and Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering (VRCE), is an engineering institute in Nagpur, Maharashtra, in central India. The institute has been ranked among the best thirty engineering colleges in India. The institute was established in June 1960 and later named in honor of engineer, planner and statesman, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. It is one of the National Institutes of Technology and in 2007 was conferred the status of Institute of National Importance.

Birla Institute of Technology

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (BIT Mesra), is an autonomous engineering and technology oriented institute of higher education located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. It is a Deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. Since the inception of main campus in Mesra (Ranchi) in 1955, BIT has established campuses in Lalpur (Ranchi), Allahabad, Kolkata, Noida, Jaipur, Chennai, Patna and Deoghar, and overseas extension centres in Muscat (Oman)& Ras al-Khaimah (UAE) .

International Institute of Information Technology

National Institute of Technology Karnataka

The foundation stone for Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC) was laid on 6 August 1960, at Surathkal. It was made possible through the efforts of U. Srinivas Mallya and V. S. Kudva and the area is now called Srinivasnagar in his honour. KREC began with three under-graduate courses in engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil, with affiliation to the University of Mysore. 1965 saw the beginning of under-graduate courses in Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering. In 1966, the college started its first post-graduate course in Marine Structures and Industrial Structures, followed by post-graduate courses in Industrial Electronics (1969), Heat Power (1971), Hydraulics and Water Resources (1971), Chemical Plant Design Engineering (1971) and Process Metallurgy (1972). More under-graduate engineering courses were added later: Electronics and Communication Engineering (1971), Mining Engineering (1984), Computer Engineering (1986) and information technology (2000). In 1980, KREC came under the affiliation of Mangalore University, and the five-year under-graduate courses were shortened to four-years. On 26 June 2002, it was elevated to the status of a National Institute of Technology and has been called NIT Karnataka (NITK) ever since. It is now a Deemed University. NITK celebrated its 50th Institute Foundation day on 6 August 2009. The year long Golden Jubilee celebrations were inaugurated on 10 August 2009.

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), formerly Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute, is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and one of the oldest engineering colleges in Asia. Founded in 1887, it was rechristened to its present name on 26 January 1997. VJTI is an academically and administratively autonomous institute, however it is a part of the University of Mumbai and its degrees & diplomas are issued by the University, and the institute is financially supported by the Government of Maharashtra. After being awarded academic & administrative autonomy in 2004, VJTI became operational under the administration of a Board of Governors. VJTI is also the Central Technical Institute of Maharashtra State. The Institute is reputed for excellent training in programs in engineering and technology at the certificate, diploma, degree, post-graduate and doctoral levels, as well as numerous well-regarded research works.

National Institute of Technology

National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NIT Warangal or NITW) is a public engineering institute located in Warangal, India. Formerly known as the Regional Engineering College, Warangal (RECW), it is the first among the 17 Regional Engineering Colleges established in India and was in 1959 by the then Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The institute was renamed as the National Institute of Technology, Warangal in September, 2002. Warangal is a town located 148 km from Hyderabad. Today it is an Institute of National Importance awarding bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees in engineering, technology, basic sciences and management.

Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology

Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), formerly Delhi Institute of Technology, is a premier engineering college in New Delhi, India. It is an autonomous institution of the Government of NCT of Delhi and is academically affiliated to Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi. Until 2009, NSIT admitted students through the Common Entrance Examination(CEE) along with Delhi College of Engineering (now Delhi Technological University). Students are now admitted through the Joint Entrance exam-Main(JEE-MAIN). As per Times of India's recent survey, NSIT takes 9th Position in top technology colleges of India. NSIT has continuously been featuring in the Top 10 in the rankings of engineering colleges of India by various surveys conducted by bodies such as India Today, Outlook, Dataquest-NASSCOM etc. On 10 June 2013 Delhi Government decided to grant NSIT the status of a university and would be called NSIT University, Delhi.

Mody Institute of Technology and Science

Mody Institute of Technology and Science( MITS) located in the Laxmangarh town of Sikar district of Indian state Rajasthan. It is a Deemed University (Exclusively for Women) offering programs in technical education at undergraduate and postgraduate level to women.

PSG College of Technology

PSG College of Technology is an autonomous, government aided, private engineering college in Coimbatore, India. It is affiliated to Anna University. The college offers a total of 48 full-time and part-time programs in Science, Engineering and Management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college was founded in 1951 by Dr.G.R.Damodaran, who served as first Principal of the college. It is one of the many educational institutions nurtured by PSG & Sons Charities Trust. It is the first private engineering institution established in Tamil Nadu. The college is located in the same campus with the PSG Industrial Institute. It is the only college in India to have an industry attached to it.

National Institute of Technology

National Institute of Technology Rourkela ,formerly Regional Engineering College Rourkela (REC Rourkela), is a publicly funded institute of higher learning for engineering and technology located in the steel city of Rourkela, Odisha, India. It is one of the 30 National Institutes of Technology in India and has been recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007.

Indian Institute of Information Technology,

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) was established in 1999, as a center of excellence in Information Technology and allied areas. The institute was conferred "Deemed University" status by Govt. of India in the year 2000. The Institute thus became empowered to have a perpetual seal and award degrees subsequent to the conduct of its own examinations. IIIT Allahabad is an Institute of National importance. The Institute of National Importance (INI) is a status that may be conferred to a higher education institution in India by an act of parliament. They are institutes which "serve as a pivotal player in developing highly skilled personnel within the specified region of the country/state". INIs receive special recognition and funding. The Institute was conceived with the objectives of developing professional expertise and skilled manpower in Information Technology (IT) and related areas. This will enable the country to efficiently exploit emerging opportunities and meet economic challenges being thrown up by the rapid global IT revolution which is influencing virtually every area of development and social activity. As one of the leading institutes in the area of IT, the establishment of IIIT-A, was a major step of Govt. of India towards strengthening the indigenous capability necessary for ensuring profitably and harnessing multidimensional facets of IT at all levels, and attaining expertise to enable the country to emerge as a leading player in the global arena.

PEC University of Technology

The PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh was orginally established as Mugalpura Engineering College at Lahore (now in Pakistan) on November 9, 1921. The name of the college was later changed to Maclagan Engineering College and its started functioning under the name on March 19, 1924. In the year 1931, the college got affiliated to Punjab University, Lahore. After partition in 1947, the college was shifted to Roorkee (India) and was renamed as East Punjab College of Engineering. In the year 1950 the word East was dropped and it came to know by its present name - Punjab Engineering College. Towards the end of December 1953, the college shifted to its present campus in Chandigarh to function under Govt. of Punjab. In 1966, with the formation of Union Territory of Chandigarh, the college same under control of Govt. of India through Chandigarh Administration. In October 2003, the Govt. of India notified the Punjab Engineering College as a Deemed to be University and thereafter it became known as Punjab Engineering College ( Deemed University). In 2009, the Board of Governors renamed the institution as PEC University of Technology. In 1994 this institution was adjudged the best technical college in India by the National Foundation of Engineers. It occupies an area of 146 acres.

College of Engineering

College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) is an autonomous engineering college with an affiliation to the University of Pune in Pune,Maharashtra,India. Established in 1854, it is the third oldest engineering college in Asia, after the College of Engineering, Guindy (1794) and IIT Roorkee (1847). The students and alumni of College Of Engineering, Pune are colloquially referred to as COEPians. The college's study model was referred to, in the early 1950s, as the "Poona Model". College of Engineering, Pune is located at the confluence of two rivers, the Mula and the Mutha.

The National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur (commonly referred to as NIT Hamirpur) is a public engineering college located in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. It is one of the thirty National Institutes of Technology established, administered and funded by Government of India. It conducts undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Engineering and Architecture and Doctor of Philosophy programme in Engineering, Pure Science and Humanities.

Indian Institute of Technology

Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar is an "engineering and technology" higher education institute, located at Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India. It is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011 which establishes the eight new IITs as well as declares IT-BHU as Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. The Act was passed in the Lok Sabha on 24 March 2011 and by the Rajya Sabha on 30 April 2012.It started functioning from the campus of IIT Kharagpur on 23 July 2008 and shifted its operation to the city of Bhubaneswar on 22 July 2009. The institute admits students into B. Tech, M. Tech and Ph.D. programs.The classes are held in Bhubaneswar city. The academic session begins in July each year. Madhusudan Chakraborty is the director of IIT Bhubaneswar since 2009, succeeding acting director, Damodar Acharya.

Manipal Institute of Technology

The Manipal Institute of Technology (commonly known as MIT, Manipal and Manipaltech) is a constituent institution of the Manipal University that specializes in the fields of engineering and technology. MIT contains 16 academic departments and awards undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees. Established in 1957 in Manipal, Karnataka, India, MIT is one of the first self-financed colleges in India.

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University

The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, commonly referred to as SMVD University or SMVDU, is a State University on an 470-acre (190 ha) campus located near Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated near the Shrine of the Mata Vaishno Devi, after which it is named. The university is fully residential and provides technical education in the field of Engineering, Science, Management, Philosophy and other subjects of contemporary importance, with all technical courses recognised by AICTE, CIC, COA. It is ranked 25th in a survey of top Indian engineering colleges by popular magazine Outlook (magazine) in 2013. Located at a distance of 45 km from Jammu Airport and 14 km short of the holy town of Katra, the university is situated on spectacular location – a plateau surrounded by mountains on three sides in the foothills of 'Trikuta' Range where the world famous shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is located. It is a self-contained township with most facilities available in-house.

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT or NIT Allahabad), formerly Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College (MNREC), is a public higher education institute located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is one of the National Institutes of Technology, and like the rest of them, classified as an Institute of National Importance.In the survey carried out by ET Now-Economic Times jointly, MNNIT Allahabad was declared as the best engineering institution of North India and ranked No.1 in overall ranking. The college has distinction of being first in the country to start an undergraduate programme in Computer Science & Engineering in 1976-77.

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) is an engineering institute in Mumbai, India, Asia. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai, one of the oldest universities of Asia and is commonly referred to as TSEC (pronounced Tee-Sec). It is located in the heart of India's financial capital and is within a few kilometers radius from the National Stock Exchange of India. TSEC is ranked 28th in the list of Top 50 Private Engineering Colleges of India by Mint, India's second largest business newspaper and the official partner of The Wall Street Journal in India. With over 90% of the total 3400 engineering colleges of India being private colleges, TSEC is among the top 1% of the private engineering colleges of India. Internationally, the University of Mumbai was ranked 41 among the top 50 Engineering Schools of the world by America's news broadcasting firm Business Insider in the year 2012 and was the only Indian University in the list. It was ranked fifth in the list of top ten universities of India by India Today in the year 2013 and has been given the highest ranking of five stars / ("A" grade) by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of India. Founded in 1983, the year in which the Government of Maharashtra granted permission to start private engineering colleges in the state, TSEC is one of the oldest private engineering colleges of India and was among the first few institutes in the country to offer undergraduate level studies in specializations of Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering. The department of Biomedical Engineering is one of the oldest in India and was set up in 1983, much before IIT Kharagpur (1986), IIT Madras (2004) and IIT Kanpur (2001); whereas the first batch of Computer Engineering graduates passed out in 1988, two years before VJTI (1990), and a few years after IIT Madras (1987) and IIT Kharagpur (1982).The undergraduate course in Information Technology was started in 1998, three years before VJTI (2001). The departments of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering as well as Chemical Engineering were established in the year 1983, and the department of Biotechnology was established in the year 2004

VIT University

VIT University, commonly called Vellore Institute of Technology or VIT is an Indian University. It has campuses both at Vellore and Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The university has been consistently placed in top 10 list of Indian colleges by leading magazines like India Today and The Week VIT has consolidated its disciplines into nine "Schools of Study." Research centers are part of the schools, to encourage collaboration amongst the research and coursework areas and to provide opportunity for coursework students to participate in research projects. University organizes many industrial workshops like Automotive Engineering workshops which was organized by ParaMek Technologies in GraVitas Fest and similar other workshops.[1] The University is among the first in India to implement the Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS) which gives the students flexibility to make their own time tables by choosing the subjects and the respective faculties under whose guidance the want to study.This system has now been adopted by many other colleges as well

Thapar University

Thapar University, formerly Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, was founded in 1956 by Karam Chand Thapar and is situated in Patiala. Thapar University has grown in size and activities during the last five decades of its existence. It was granted full autonomy and the status of a Deemed University in 1985 by the UGC.

University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University

University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) is an engineering and management institute of Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. It offers undergraduate (BE), postgraduate (Dual Degree BEMBA, M.Tech degree) as well as doctoral courses. The institute is granted funds from the central government to improve its infrastructure and facilities. UIET has interactions and Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with industry and academia like the IT giant Infosys (Campus Connect Program), IBM, IMTECH, and Bharti Group (Bharti Chair for research). The institute has a memorandum signed with the University of Western Australia.

Jamia Millia Islamia

Jamia Millia Islamia (translation: National Islamic University ) is a public central university located in Delhi. It was established at Aligarh in United Provinces, India in 1920. It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988. In Urdu and Arabic, Jamia means University[citation needed], and Millia means National The university was established by nationalist Muslim leaders in 1920, prior to partition. Jamia was accorded the status of a Central University by act of the parliament in December 1988. In 2006 the King of Saudi Arabia paid a visit to the university and donated a record $30 million for construction of a library.

National Institute of Technology

National Institute Of Technology, Silchar ( NIT Silchar) is one of the 30 National Institute of Technologys of India and was established in 1967 as a Regional Engineering College in Assam. In 2002 it was upgraded to the status of National Institute of Technology and was declared as Institute of National Importance under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007.

R.V. College of Engineering

Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering (R.V. College of Engineering or RVCE) is a private technical co-educational college located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Established in 1963, RVCE has 11 departments in engineering, one school of architecture, and a Master of Computer Applications department. It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The undergraduate courses are granted academic autonomy by the university. RVCE is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), all its departments are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and its school of Architecture is accredited by the Council of Architecture (COA). It was founded, and is managed by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samiti Trust in Bangalore. It has been recognised as a centre of excellence by the Union Government of India and is considered as the most preferred college in Bangalore to study engineering. The college has twinning programs and collaborations with many institutions across the world, as well as collaborations with the industry. Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) is a college located in Gandipet, Osman Sagar, Hyderabad, India. It is 25 kilometres (16 mi) away from Secunderabad railway station. The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur, IITJ), is a public university located in Jodhpur in the state of Rajasthan in India. National Institute of Technology

The National Institute of Technology, Srinagar , commonly known as NIT Srinagar, Acronym - NIT SRI, (An Institute of National Importance), is a public engineering institute located in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, and an engineering institute of North India, along with other NITs and IITs of India. It is one of the 30 NITs in India, and as such is directly under the control of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). It is the 7th in the chain of 17 NITs established as a part of the Second Five Year Plan(1956-61) by the Government of India. M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology

M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) is an autonomous private engineering college located in Bengaluru, Karnataka and is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University head quartered at Belgaum, Karnataka, India.
